...Episode 5 of the "What's Arising Podcast"
The nature of reality and the nature of nature is vibration, waves. As a wave, everything, including our bodies are a process/vibration/movement rather than a 'thing'. All waves have peaks and valleys, but they are one whole process; undivided. This is the nature of waves.
Emotions are waves with interdependent peaks and valleys. While we have little control over the waves of emotions or choices of others, we can still our own wave and joyfully ride the waves of human experience from a place of stillness and non-duality. By stilling (not controlling) our emotional waves (non-attachment), we can 'influence' the waves of others rather than getting pulled into or attuning to the dramatic waves of the world. In stillness there is peace.
Shadow integration work is aimed at stilling our wave, releasing the emotional charge and peacefully riding the waves of life through all its peaks and valleys, its births and deaths.

Welcome to this episode of What's Arising.
I'm calling this episode Stealing the Wave, and um, the resonance of this bowl is a great metaphor, a great symbol of of wave, and which I'll get into in a bit.
Everything in life is a vibration.
It's a frequency.
Everything is a wave, so the bull sends out these waves of sound, which you can hear on the video.
And all of our senses in life as human beings are attuned to vibration, attuned to vibrational waves.
Life by its nature, is frequency.
It's a wave.
So we look at life through our senses, receive vibration, and we see colour, we see hear sound, we have touch.
We experience this amazing life through that vibration of what our senses pick up and how we interpret that.
That's an amazing experience for us as humans.
I think animals are of course attuned to the wave.
Plants are the wave.
We we are a wave too.
But we get to look and interpret and make choices and wow, decide meaning for the wave that animals or plants don't.
They just are the wave and we are the wave.
But we've got this ability to actually think we are different than just the wave or they were separate from the wave.
And emotions are like waves.
Also, there's ups and downs in our emotions and we interpret the UPS as good and the downs as bad.
But if you look at waves, let's go to the ocean.
So imagine there's an ocean on which reality is built.
Consciousness.
So there's this ocean, and across this ocean, waves arise and fall up and down.
Many different kinds of waves.
I don't know what the wind is that creates the waves, but there's waves.
And every life, every life is a wave that's arises and falls.
We are born, come to the peak of our life, and then fall away and die in life.
Everything else in life is a process, a wave of vibration.
Some of the waves have huge impact are tall waves and some are lesser waves, shallow waves.
But everything's vibration.
We as human beings, we interpret these waves as good and bad in this duality.
But you can't have a high wave.
If you think of a wave and an ocean, you can't have a high wave without the low wave.
You can't have the top of the wave without the trough.
They're mutually dependent.
Creation has positives and negatives.
Black, white, everything has its opposites in this experience of life, and that's marvelous.
It gives us contrast, it gives us depth, depth of experience that we wouldn't have otherwise.
And maybe the problem is we get to it attached to part of the wave and think one side's better than the other, rather than it being a cycle, a wave.
Um.
Trying to make, um, it all be up waves.
You can't have all up waves in in a dualistic world.
You can't have it this way.
There has to be the other waves.
So we're in this world right now with extreme waves of fear.
Extreme waves of grief coming through us, all kinds of things of what we thought we knew about life and our experience and what we were creating seems to be on this down wave right now.
We've had some up waves, we've had some peaceful times and we're going down, but life throws that at us.
It has.
It's everything is cyclical.
It there's this long cycles of the Earth and the Sun and the solar system and our revolutions around the sun, around our Galaxy.
And there's this shorter waves we've had in this Earth, ice ages and warm periods.
It's all a wave.
So what?
What can we do with that wave?
Well, I can try and sail against the wave.
It can go into the wave.
It can be fun I guess to go into the wave.
Splash, splash, splash, row, row, row and go with the wave of what's happening and not judge the wave so I can go up and down and just be with the wave as it rolls out.
I can watch my life wave and everyone else's life wave and not make choose to not make it good or bad, but just be in the experience of life being going up and down.
But we tend to be, I think, as human beings, I certainly I know this experience.
For me, addicted to the drama, the the waves of emotions that are going across the planet or come into my field are addictive.
It's in some ways fun to be really angry at somebody or to feel this bliss, to feel all of the waves and I can get attached to the waves at time.
My particular wave.
You can get lost in the drama.
And I think as waves go, there's also this attunement that happens so that the earth or if the humanity is going like this, do I allow myself to attune to that vibration, the fear vibration or whatever it is?
Do I get drawn into that and resonate like a tuning fork into that wave?
That's a possibility and then that happens?
Or how can I still my wave and draw people into distilling of that wave?
If we take vibration, our own vibration, or any vibration, and we quiet that wave and spread it out so that it goes like a line, it goes back to the ocean and there there's this nothingness, almost this sense of death, but more so, it's the heart of creation and the stillness within creation.
By stealing the wave, our wave, and not being choosing not to be influenced by this wave or attuned to that, into the drama.
Here there's peace.
That's one way of getting peace I suppose.
Another way to to collapse the wave is very very fast bration vibration.
If you get really resonating, it becomes still at the other side of this vibration and all the waves coming together and it's still point this way.
Maybe that's bliss and this, but they're both nothingness.
This and this.
And we're just in the heart of creation that way.
So I guess my proposal alright inquiry is how do I steal my wave and what happens when I steal my wave?
If we walk into a room of others and we have a very clear present, still wave, what happens to others in the room if I don't attune to the vibration that's going on in the room, but I invite people to come into my vibration without doing anything.
If I steal my wave, what happens to others in their consciousness?
Will they attune?
I think they do.
I think they will.
If I steal my wave, If I let go of all those things that are disturbing my process of life, then I think that's where we can have great influence and impact in the world by stealing our own wave.
Or, as another thought, if the world and my surroundings are going like this in a direction rather than fighting that wave, can I be a still point at any place on the wave of life that's happening?
If there's turmoil, and there is in the world right now, can I be still at any point in the wave, economic crisis or economic prosperity?
Can I be still and ride the wave?
What would happen then?
And what would happen if many of us came together and stilled the wave?
There's been lots of research around meditation and people coming into stillness and meditation and visualization of of peaceful world or peaceful city and having an impact and the crime rate going down.
We all can be the change that we want to see in the world, as Gandhi said.
And that process, I suggest, is about stilling the wave, working with the trauma within our sounds, our own shadows, coming to peace, collapsing all those waves of what we don't like or what we like or what we want and bring them into, into being without resistance, riding the wave without resistance.
So that's my thoughts for today.
How can you still where your wave?
How can we still the wave of the world?
Or at least ride the wave without being caught in the drama.
I think we're in a more powerful place and lose less energy if we do that.
Doing our grief work, going deeply into the grief, grief, going deeply into the wave in order to still the wave, letting the fear pass in order to steer still the wave.
In the show notes, I'll put some links to the work I do with Shadow.
That's been a marvelous experience for me and the clients that have worked with me.
Instilling the wave, looking at those things we hate or can't stand in life because that's putting out a wave that just builds on itself and the world is in.
As I suggested in the last video, the Shadow wars, big waves of war and resistance and anger that's coming out of the darkness that we've suppressed.
The wave is arising.
The shadow is arising, but we could each take responsibility, instilling that wave within ourselves and withdrawing the energy from the wave that is going through the world right now.
And then that being peace within each of us, we can influence the world.
So hope you enjoyed the podcast.
See you in the next one and enjoy whatever wave you're on.
Go deeply into the experience of that part of life.
Be still within that and notice the beauty and the possibility that's inherent in this wave of life
